Abstract Thursday - Wood Chips

I came across some piles of wood chips on my walk to & from the Lakeside Leisure Centre at Killingworth when I went for a swim. I think they'd been tidying up some decrepit trees.

Anyway I thought they'd make a suitable subject for Abstract Thursday, when spiced up a bit by some rather reckless use of the sliders in Lightroom. A bit garish perhaps but I rather like the textures and colours which have emerged :)
