Independence day..

Today should have had flags flying, bunting, street parties and an air of general happiness. Instead, everyone I've spoken to has been in a gloom, ruing the missed chance to build a prosperous and independent nation.

Instead, we continue to suffer under the control of far away Westminster, a Tory government that no-one in Scotland voted for, and a Government where our elected MP's are laughed at, have stripped powers, and are ridiculed.

Scotland WILL become independent one day, and I hope it's sooner rather than later, before more of our assets are stripped away by the UK.
