They were hiding in my dressing gown pocket which I have not worn for a week.

How on earth did they get there?

I came in yesterday, locked the door, put my bag in the front room and as far as I know I would have put my keys either in the bag or by the bags.

I can't see how I would have gone into my bedroom and put the keys in the dressing gown pocket...
