MRI scan

Today I travelled to Dundee for an MRI scan. The actual scan was fine - just a lot of holding my breath and a few injections. However, the preparation at the start was horrendous. I had to drink one and a half litres of this liquid which tasted like diluted cough medicine in 45 minutes. It was disgusting to drink and I really struggled, especially because my stomach was empty as I hadn't been allowed to eat all day. 

Oh well - it's over now! I should get a follow up appointment with the results in about 2 weeks so I'll just have to wait and see what happens!
