Necking

The swans were both out in the middle of the Water of Leith sprucing themselves up, but as I was watching they gradually got closer together and generally started spooning. I was hoping for a decent shot of them making that lovely heart-shape with their necks, but I realised that things had moved rapidly beyond that stage and I didn't want to hang around to see this sort of thing again.

I noticed that swan romance was happening a lot in Finland too, today.
