The Bully.

This fellow is fiercely protective towards his "wife" who is currently sitting on her newly built nest in the Heron Pond . In addition to keeping "his" pond clear he  feels it necessary to clear the poor swans from the Leg of Mutton Pond which is  a long way off - see extra photos.
Before all of this, even before dawn, there was the briefest of a pink sky - also in the extra photos.
