This evening Mme A, Miss K and I played enough right notes at our orchestra's concert in Peebles for it not to be too embarrassing. Miss L was in the audience, doubtless thinking about the day's two big bits of news: she's been offered a place to study musical theatre at the Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan next year, and she got a distinction for Monday's Grade V singing. Her Maths test result wasn't so good...
