fallen...

from the bundle of flowers purchased - the other day

it always saddens me - when i find a random bud which has fallen off - from the pack, so to speak - i feel like it's lost its way somehow - and that gets me to thinking about our current state of affairs around the world - especially in light of what just happened - with the terrorist attack in brussels - how a few humans can go so wrong - how does that happen? - how does the human mind become so capable of - such inhuman acts on other humans?

it's not something i will ever understand - i can only try and have compassion for - those who perform these kinds of unspeakable acts - without judgement because i don't know them - i don't know their background or what drives them - to do what they do - yet they are still human beings just like me - and i believe deep inside them - they must be hurting in a way i can't comprehend - which is that driving force - compelling them to such heinous acts - i don't expect anyone to understand my thinking - i am just saying for me - i must find a way to have some kind of heart compassion - to be able to say a prayer for them - that they might see the light of right one day - to stop their horrendous acts so that - we all might live to experience...
