Flower Friday - after the flower

Camellia seed pods are quite lovely. They resemble a little apple (see extra) until they split and slowly open to release the seed. Pethybridge Garden has a lovely selection of old camellia trees that are quite laden with camellia apples at the moment, at all stages of growth.
