East to West

The quickest way from the Upper East Side to the Upper West Side is by foot, straight across Central Park. I caught the park at sunset, in all its Spring glory. 

We met on the other side for a festive dinner - in celebration of my PhD (always fun to have a present still in stock to redeem) and to say goodbye (See extra). But of course, our thoughts were mostly back home, wishing strength to all those who were affected by the attacks in Brussels today. Horrible news to wake up to :(
