The blues
Finally I finished the butterfly.
After spending most of the day in the car, driving down from Helensburgh, past Loch Lomond, over the Erskine Bridge (I love bridges) and waving goodbye to Glasgow it took just over two hours to get back to Kendal. Collected my car, nipped to Kirkby Lonsdale to grab some things from the house and then headed down to Chorlton so I could collect a print for a customer.
By the time I was home it was 4pm and I still had a lot of jobs to do. Eventually, at quarter to eight, after running Mia to netball I was home and managed to actually take my coat off.
So I settled down to finish the watercolour on this chap. I rather like him.
He will get framed eventually and packed away for whenever I next manage to exhibit some work. Unless he sells before then of course.

(He is a 28x38cm pen and watercolour illustration on paper, £45, delivered. Eventually will be on my website)
