Captive

A wondrous wild turkey walked the same unbeaten path I walked with the dogs yesterday. He left* me a wing** feather. I think that's rather nice.

*Not really true; it probably just dropped off naturally but I'm always mesmerized when I find a large feather.

**It's wide on one side and very narrow on the other.
