Good Friday in Rishton.

It is just after 3pm on this blue skied mild Good Friday here in Rishton Lancashire.
I am listening to Radio 4, who are reflecting on the story of Jesus and his Great Sacrifice and the power of redemption.
Paul is trying to work out how to attach small switches to some new wall lights we bought today from Argos.
The front room is going through a time of upheaval, having suffered terrible damp when the roof was leaking two years ago.
The walls are bare, damp wallpaper all cleared away, and there is light at the end of a dark tunnel.
Much noise from drilling in the background.
I hope this special day gives you a strong reassurance of God's Love and omnipresence.
The Cross was full of pain and self sacrifice, but through it Jesus in his Mercy brought about the miracle of reconciliation, once and for all.
I daily rejoice, that what I could not do, He did for me.
