Hot Cross Bun Day

Glorious! Absolutely glorious morning for walking up onto the moors and not just sunny but warm, we all had our coats off.
Three weeks ago exactly we were walking up here in the snow. Here

These rocks are in the area of the moor where they used to quarry stone. There were rumours last year that they were going to start again and we certainly saw some surveying going on but as yet nothing seems to have happened.
We did see a Sparrow Hawk in this tree this morning though. Extra2. Someone else said it was a pigeon but my very poor picture of it confirmed it was a Sparrow Hawk.
The dogs today were busy seeking out water as it has dried up so much over the last few weeks. Sadly it is not going to last and sadly I had to spend 2 hours of this glorious day at the hairdressers as my last weeks appointment was cancelled.

When I got home from the walk I had some left over fruit salad for breakfast and a hot cross bun of course. It is a Good Friday and therefore hot cross bun day. Not just any hot cross bun of course but an M&S Cherry and Berry hot cross bun. Yum!

Spot of gardening now I think whilst we still have the sun.
