The Tractor Had Come Round Again
12.2C and bright and sunny. Some cloud. WSW wind to 23 mph with gusts to 31 mph.
Maeve the Deerhound and I went for a walk after lunch. Jean Michel Jarre (Oxygene) and Runrig (The Story) on the Nano. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. In the distance there was a big John Deere tractor sowing seed in one of the fields belonging to one of the farms at Scryne.
We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. The farmer from Craigmill farm was going round the outer edges of the ploughed field on the Easthaven side of the track in his red tractor with a harrow. By the time we wandered deliberately slowly down the track and started along the cycle path towards Westhaven the tractor had come round again.
We walked along the cycle path to Westhaven and carried on round in a loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road before turning along for home. It was quite warm out of the wind.
