Christmas at Easter

My Christmas roses, hellebores, still look as fresh at Easter as they did when they first came into flower a couple of months ago. Sadly I can't get down to their level for a better photo.
Beautiful warm day today and I sat outside with my sewing, glad to feel the warmth of the sun. I had earned a rest as I had been pottering about tidying up, and even managed to push our light weight vacuum cleaner around!
Two weeks since my hip replacement, and all going well, although it still aches most of the time. I took the dressing off today and I have soluble stitches, brilliant. Amazing to see that small 5 inch scar - how do they do it?
