Spring Rituals

"Geöffnet" means "open".  Haus Himmelreich has opened again after the winter, another sign that we're heading into better weather (although not today).

I really appreciate days off, whatever the reason.  This morning I woke up at 6 as I normally do (but without the alarm), and it was such a feeling of relief to know that I didn't HAVE to get up, I lay in bed and just enjoyed not doing anything.  I fell asleep and woke at 7:30 - still marvellous, lay in bed and read, even better.

It's currently raining, so I think we'll hold off going to Haus Himmelreich for now.  When the sun is back and it's a Friday evening, we can go for a Bembel of Apfelwein.
