In Which We Find a Pond

Today we started clearing the space under the magnolia to prepare it for our new pond. As we cleared more and more we discovered an old pond, a proper, big, solid pond. It looks like it was filled in with loads of rubble and covered with a liner and lots of soil. Perfect, though it's going to take some effort to dig it out...

My mum and dad are here for the night and Ben's gone to Alex's for his birthday bash. Nothing else to report.
