Glorious Good Friday

The weather has been absolutely lovely today. I would have loved to have gone out but Mr C had a tidying up day planned :-(. As Ruby is in season, I couldn't even go on a long dog walk.

I took a few snaps during the day - hot cross buns ~ to reminisce about being a little girl and they were only available in the bakers in the run up to Easter and the smell on Good Friday morning was to die for, flowers, decorative eggs on bushes outside, sunset..... None were particularly good but I decided on this tree bud with the sunset.

Happy birthday to my dad who enters his last year as a septuagenarian.
