Passion Play

I always find it a privilege to be asked to photograph the bi-annual Good Friday Passion Play. It begins at the steps of the stunning Minster, it takes in stations through the town centre and ends in the heart of the town at the main Market Square. Thousands share in the dramatic retelling of this story. 

For me, it is the pain of His earthly mother that particularly strikes me each time I see this and really speaks to me.
