Dull Day

This day was dull, grim and grey. I couldn't really bring myself to take any photos other than a couple of desultory shots of the woodpecker at the bird feeder, and the shutter speed was too slow. Which is why you get this shot of a blurry headed wood pecker extracting food from the inner, anti-squirrel cage.

Did the exhibitors at the Photography Show also experience this sort of comedown? I remember it from when I did shows at school. The aftermath was awful. 

I really, really need to put this lens on a monopod at least when taking shots.
