Views of my world

Ardersier

Made the journey north today to visit Auntie Christine after a nice morning coffee and catch up with the craft sheeple.

The journey was fairly uneventful except for one awful section of the A9 strewn with roadworks and traffic lights when it took an hour to go 20 miles. We arrived at Ardersier at 5 o'clock and had a tour of Christine's new place. I gave her the blue linen as a house warming present as I know she'll give it a good home.

We had a lovely meal of homemade lasagne and chocolate cake then after dinner we went for a walk down to the path along the shore of the Beauly Firth. It was a lovely place to walk with lots of wild flowers and plenty of clouds to make for a beautiful sunset. We were all snapping away and the children even got into capturing the gorgeous flowers and plants.

I'm quite tired now after the long drive so looking forward to a good night's sleep ahead of whatever adventure's tomorrow might bring, when you stay with Auntie Christine you never quite know what fun is in store!
