We made use of the fantastic weather and took the Maid of the Forth to Inchcolm to visit the Abbey. It was really nice and sunny although cold. Part of the trip goes around the central tower of the new Queensferry Crossing. It is growing fast (see extra). We then walked across the still current road bridge to North Queensferry. Then pints and train back into Edinburgh. Finally quality dinner at the City Restaurant.
