Duntelve Broch

From our base in Lochcarron we travelled south along Loch Duich and over the old military road to Glenelg. The views from the top, of Loch Duich and the Five Sisters of Kintail, are stunning.

We visited the twin brochs of Dun Telve and Dun Troddan. Apparently there is a third, semi-broch, at Dun Grugaig but we didn't get to that one.

Dun Telve is the second highest broch in Scotland, after Mousa, and still impressive despite being around 2000 years old.
