Last Supper?

Another poster at work.  This is a large one facing the small pantry close to the dean's office.  Shot this while waiting for my Thursday morning students, who arrived about 15 minutes after I arrived, which was about 15 minutes after class was supposed to start.  In short, a rather sluggish morning, partly because everyone knows there's a 4-day weekend coming up.

Went to work, worked, went back home.  What else can I say?  The bombings in Brussels are having an effect on our traffic and our borders.  At least one in 4 cars is now being checked as they enter either The Netherlands or Belgium from either side.  I presume the same thing is happening between France and Belgium.  Lock-down in Brussels so you can just forget about driving in that direction.  Intensive contact now between Europol, Interpol and all police and border police.  Living our day-to-day routine, we don't really notice, except when you go to the big cities like AMS, Rotterdam and The Hague, where security forces have become more visible.  All train stations bordering Belgium, including that beautiful new structure in Breda, are being patrolled, and bags could be inspected if they look 'funny'.  For a change, hubby had travel plans for this weekend and they had to be shelved.

In between all this, one of the most famous soccer giants of all time, our own Johan Cruijff, passed away.

The Richard III MOOC is almost finished, and there's another little project I'm working on and which should be done by Monday next week, which is why I'm hardly here.  In between all that -- the housework and some extra sleep.

More than a happy Easter weekend, I hope you are all SAFE.
