Heading home

If I look a little concerned it's because this was taken at Izmir airport, Turkey just prior to heading home after a fab holiday.
I'm not a happy flier! I'll get on a plane as I like to visit new places but it scares me a little.

I've tried to analyse the fear and come to the conclusion it's not the flying that frightens me...it's the thought of dropping out of the air and crash landing into a million pieces that does it!

It's also a control thing...I know, logically I'm at greater risk on the road, but I'm driving then and therefore under the illusion I have some control. I also know, logically that everyone is safer because I'm not flying the plane...it appears however that fear and logic do not necessarily make good bed fellows.

Still...got home safely and looking forward to my next trip.
