Floral cross

Remember the shot a couple of days ago, of the cross being wrapped in bird wire ? Here it is, bedecked in flowers.

We visited our local flower farm/wholesaler who have us 2 car boot loads of "seconds" flowers. If we had bought them in good condition, it would have cost $100s! Instead, to show good spirit we bought 3 bunches for $42.
With some "rejuvenation", those seconds flowers that we literally retrieved from the bins at the back door of the shop, filled vases and vases of flowets,as well as providing plenty sorry flowers to decorate the cross. We have left the lower upright empty for worshipers to decorate on Sunday.
But will that be my blip, or the empty tomb church doorway or the dawn fire? Time will tell.
