Bird of prey flying high in the summer sky

Ok, I was going to get take those photos of the strawberry cheesecakes I made, but I was out taking photos of ducks again when I thought "I should head to Arthur's Seat and take a photo of a bird of prey". That genuinely was my plan, and it was as well thought out as that. And it worked.

I think it's a sparrowhawk, but will be happily corrected. Was taken from that bit that overlooks Hunter's Bog. It would hover for a bit, then move further down to the right, and hover again, and kept doing this before starting over again.

All in all, I'm glad I didn't offer to do overtime at work today.
