Aquatic centre

School games 2012. A few sports were lucky enough to be held at the Olympic Park and, with our competition over, we were fortunate to be able to go and watch the swimming and athletics.

This is the Olympic Aquatic Centre. You can't really appreciate the real perspective from this photo. It goes up...and up...and up. Watch out if you have vertigo. I witnessed our athletes emerging from the stairs into the spectator area and having to stop and hold on to something to steady themselves because of the aspect you get from this level.

It's a long way up to see a hole in the ground!
