Breaking Wave

I was campaigning in Campbeltown today and it was wet all the way there .

We had a slightly drier interlude later in the morning which allowed us to get some (very encouraging) canvassing done but when we drove back it was raining again the wind was rising.   Indeed the ferry crossing from Tarbert was quite choppy and  the Claonaig / Lochranza crossing had already been suspended. 

Driving north the Kintyre coast  looked very impressive.  Beaches like Westport are apparently great for surfing but there are also some very rocky places like this , slightly further north,  where today the waves had a green tinge as they broke on the shore.
