Earth Pillars...

of Ordiequish. Have blipped these geological specimens before, but they looked particularly red today. The Spey looks a harmless trickle, but the masses of sand and debris accumulated here tell a different tale. Also, so many plants have been washed downstream and are now beginning to bloom in the fertile earth. There were Crocuses, Daffodils, Butterbur, Coltsfoot and Lupins. Will be beautiful given a couple of weeks of warmth and sun. There were Mute Swans, Dippers, Goosander and Grey Wagtail on this stretch of the river.
