Miles away

A very early start today - I was up just after three and Bailey was very surprised to be woken before four. The packed van arrived for us and we were off down the road well before anyone else as planned. Two stops - the first at the gorgeous Gloucester services - and we were in Watergate Bay by half ten. Far too early as it turned out with all of our beach walking things packed well away. So, we decided to head for St Ives so as not to waste the day, got drenched in the process but Bailey had his first ride on a train and the bestest friend got her anniversary present.

Back to the bay and to our lovely and familiar from last year accommodation. Bailey made himself at home and we unpacked and then had a bit of a lie down before a pint and then back to lovely pre-made chilli and the arrival of the shopping. Bailey has finally crashed out, satisfied that he knows exactly where his favourite people are.
