Taking Stock

There was rain aplenty such that even Kylie decided she could wait a while for her morning ablute. We went off to Biggar and then Peebles and then Moffat in search an eclectic shopping list and were mostly successful, although the cast iron kettle eluded us. It's not urgently required.

There is a fine looking rolled rib of beef for tomorrow's lunch, so we got busy boiling bones and veg for the stock. It's been going for about 5 hours now and is getting pretty beefy.
