Colourful bears

The Easter weekend weather threw everything it could at us, I took my group to Loweswater today, but by 1 o'clock, even the hardiest of them was asking "why are we doing this?" So we headed home.

Spent the afternoon playing with cross-polarisation, photographing smoke trails and putting Haribo bears on a light box. I then wondered what would happen if I cross-polarised a haribo bear - the answer is that you still get the light shining through the bears, but against a wonderful black background!

Can't try it again, the bears have mysteriously disappeared!
