Testing Geodesic Domes

Grade 6 have been learning about the work of Buckminster Fuller. In particular his work developing the Geodesic dome. Their task was to work in teams of 3 or 4 to build follow instructions and build a dome out of newspaper and tape. We then tested them to see how many magazines they could hold. The idea was to demonstrate how strong the structure was compared to it's weight.
