The Alster Lake, Hamburg.

We had a nice lunch in Hamburg today and I wanted to go to the botanical gardens afterwards, but as it was raining we gave it a miss and drove around for a bit.  Here is a picture taken from the edge of the lake - you can see how grey it is here today... 
Alfred has taken part is his first doggy easter egg hunt.  We used roast duck breast - thinly sliced, which we put on a little saucer, waved under his nose, then made him stay in the kitchen while we hid it in the living room.  It was hilarious watching him search for it when he was called in, and he didn't take too long to find and eat it!  We brought some more with us to give him in the restaurant too but forgot it in the car, so as soon as we got back we did another hunt!  Mr K and I will be hunting for chocolate rabbits later.  I am confident he will still be looking for his next easter - there's no way he'll find it!  :-)
