Sunshine and showers

It was more a case of (very heavy) showers with some brief spells of sunshine. Last year we had over 700 visitors at our Easter open day, today we had about 250. Never mind, those that came had a good time, although there was grave disappointment when it was announced that the egg and spoon race had to be cancelled - the lawn was under water where the race had been due to take place. We took the eggs home, which I suppose is a silver lining of sorts.
