Easter Emigrants
Started the day with a walk with two Dutch families - but all of us speaking Portuguese. Went round their land, with meditations on Jesus' resurrection, drawn from Nature - they are passionate ecologists. Here's the youngest lad presenting his Mama with a bunch of flowers he'd picked.
Then raced back to Mora for a special Easter meal with the Biscaias - turkey that had been marinating in wine overnight, and wild asparagus migas, and an apple tarte I'd made last night.
Mike then preached the last of our eight sermons - went well.
A strange sort of Easter though - missing our family and our church (and our culture) more than I'd like to admit...
