HAIL

A view from the car two minutes after I'd parked for a birdy blip-walk. Unfortunately in those two minutes I'd walked about 100 yards from the car, so by the time I dashed back, completely blinded by horizontal hail, I was literally soaked to the skin. I'd meant to go out earlier but there was an email from Amazon telling me they were going to deliver a (completely non-essential) package today. Really? Easter Sunday? Of course it arrived just as the best of the weather finished for the day.
