Uneventful

Easter Sunday...

I had a lovely lie-in this morning, and a lazy start which was nice. The rain poured down, but then cleared and it was bright and sunny.

I went to my house and tried my hand at sealing the gap where the floor and wall tiles meet. I had a new floor exactly a year ago, and now that they've settled, you could see the gap, so having armed myself with some tools and a few youtube guides, I was ready to go!

It's not perfect, but it's my first attempt, and it was ok. We'll see how it looks tomorrow. 

A bit sad as I can't help but remember what I was doing last Easter. It's just so sad. I hope I can get over this. I've discovered The Bachelorette and enjoying it, but I also miss that closeness that comes with being with that special someone. I just can't understand why this all fell down around me. Don't I deserve things to work out?
