Remembering

We have been trying to place a memorial bench in just the right spot for about 2 years.  We finally got it done today.  A short walk from our house there is a conservation area with a pond and walking trails.  There are herons in the summer and all kinds of beauty all year round.  Today there was a Merganser pair and a family of some other kind of duck that wouldn't let me get close enough to ID.  This was a place Sumner liked to come to, to hike and sometimes just to think.  Now there is a spot to sit overlooking the pond (see extras).  I wish I didn't see that the plaque was put on a little crooked, but I'm not saying anything......
