Fingers Crossed!

United Utilities are currently digging a hole at the end of the drive to connect the new plastic water line and disconnect the existing lead pipe. I then have to do a bit of plumbing in the house to change over to the new pipe.
When i laid the new piece of plastic in the trench i had to take it under a land drain and the pipe kinked. i was mortified and when i finished sobbing i had to cut it and put in a straight connection. It is the recommended coupling and i made doubly sure it was fitted correctly but at the end of the day it shouldn't be there and it's doing my head in. It will be a great result if we are on the new system this afternoon.
