I Hope Buying A Tent In The Rain Isn't A Bad Omen

Poor Johnny was all dressed up with no place to go this morning as we were all set to go to dressage only to get a 6.30 alarm call to say that it had been cancelled due to the rain....rain what rain?

Bit of a shock to find the village green totally flooded (see the extra) and the beck bursting it's banks. By lunchtime the rain had stopped, the waters were receding and the roads were clear enough for us to get out of the village and go tent shopping...we are now festival ready for July...I just hope buying a tent in the rain is not a bad omen!
