End of an era

Probably not quite an era, how long are they? We have been renting the beach hut for the last four years, we got it shortly after I started blipping. And it has been absolutely and utterly fab, my favourite memories are trying to get the kids out of the dinghy and back on dry land at 9pm. But, we hardly used it at all last year - daisy and will only like going if there is a full set of friends laid on and it is time to let someone else enjoy it while we go exploring new places with Rosie. I dragged Daisy out of bed at 11am and we managed to clear it out quite quickly - a pile for the cupboard under the stairs and a pile for the dump. All completed in near gale conditions. Then I took Will and Rosie for their first ever car wash trip, went into town to buy Daisy a pile of stuff, sorted out the rest of yesterday's seafood into a crab soup and a tidy pile of prawns and have generally felt very productive. The sun at 5:30pm helps plus there is that extra jolt of joy that the clock in the car will be correct for the next six months.....

Enough now though, back to my book.
