I spy

Katie kept waking me up through the night. It wasn't so much the volume of the noise as the sporadic nature of it - sudden bangs or howls or moans. No damage here and the new fence and gate were untroubled but I know from the local news that there was stuff all over the area. The storm passed during the morning leaving a couple of showers and now the sun is out. 

In keeping with cultural norms and the traditions of these lands I have eaten chocolate today - it's what the church would want I'm sure.
