Utrecht

After a lovely lie in we stopped off for breakfast on our way to the train station. One thing I have noticed is that everyone is so pleasant, particularly in the cafes, always a smile, always welcoming.

Our train to Utrecht, which is just an hour away, was a double decker, much to our delight. And so comfortable with wifi that actually works.

We arrived around one thirty and found our way to the canal area, and the city certainly didn't disappoint. The buildings are just lovely and we came across lots of shops selling vintage glassware and household objects.

Just spent the afternoon, walking, popping into bars and then finished our visit by sharing a pizza down by the canal.

We think we will come back, we found little canal side apartments you can rent.

Back in Eindhoven now, just pottering about the apartment before we head out for a couple of evening drinks.
