Beach
11.2C bright and sunny all day long. Light to moderate WNW breeze.
Since it turned out to be such a nice day Apothecary7, Maeve the Deerhound and I went to St Andrews.
We had a walk along the West sands out towards the Eden estuary. The tide was part way out and there was lots of firm sand to walk on. There were some clouds which occasionally hid the sun making it feel quite chilly, but it was mostly bright and sunny and the sea was blue. The beach was very busy with people, and dogs, and even one or two people flying kites.
We had a walk along by the castle and the Cathedral and back through the town then took Maeve back to the car where she stayed while Apothecary7 and I went and had some lunch. Afterwards we had another walk round town which was also very busy today, with a visit to a lovely bookshop, before we came back to the car. I stopped to get this shot at the little beach just by the golf museum. Maeve was very content to have been left in the car where she was warm and clearly had been having a snooze. We were back home by mid afternoon.
