What a view.

This is the current view from the hall.
You can see where the builders have started to dig for the foundations, all the old joists and a pile of rubbish. In the background you can see the pond which we filled in with rubble. The builders have been burning the fire on top of it the last week so all the water had dried up, but unfortunately due to the rainfall last night it has started to fill up (with dirty rubble and ash filled rainwater). When we got to the house today the frogs have returned and there is frogspawn everywhere. I feel even more guilty as the water looks horrible. If anybody would like to adopt some frogs or frogspawn let me know.
