The Coffee Spot

Behind our house, about a 5 minute walk away in summer, is a place with a view out to the distant hills and forest. We call it our coffee spot because you can make a cup of coffee at home and then carry it that short walk onto the hill and enjoy it while taking in the view.  We’ve even constructed a bench and table to add to the comfort of the experience.
Today the sun was shining and the snow is melting so we decided to give it a go, though with coffee in a thermos rather than in a cup. After 20 minutes of trail blazing through snow of varying depth we made it, and now there’s a fairly good path so it’ll go a lot quicker next time.
