Red-backed Shrike

I spotted this Red-backed Shrike (pikkulepinkäinen) for the first time the day before yesterday on the way to our place at the lake. We are living on the edge of the area where these can be found. It's not very common here. Although I've understood that already in the Southern Finland it's more common and in Europe it's very common.

Anyways, today I went there again to photograph it and there were a couple just as I expected. I like it when a plan comes together. Let's see if I can get closer when the chicks have left the nest.
